2018 Farm Apprentice
The apprentice will work March through October, taking part in all aspects of the farm including horse-powered vegetable production, marketing through a CSA, farm stand and wholesale, and the raising of chickens, turkeys, pigs and draft horses. We will train in horse work with the goal of developing a working, practical knowledge in diversified draft power. Benefits include housing in a private cabin with electricity, wi-fi, heat, minimal running water, and an outhouse. All-you-can-eat farm food including meat is provided as well as educational workshops, etc, 1 week’s paid vacation and a stipend. Summer Intern
Farm Interns work during the summer months, often during college vacation. Interns will help plant, weed, harvest and market vegetables, use draft horses to make hay, and take part in the overall production of the farm.
